This is a small team and are looking for compassionate and curious people who are eager to take ownership of big projects and grow with them. If you’re interested in shaping how user research is done at product-focused companies globally, you will love it here!

Responsibilities

● You will work closely within our cross-functional product squad, owning the iOS integration our customers will use to do in-product user research in their mobile applications.

● You will own the development of the Ribbon iOS SDK, which our customers deploy in their own applications and process millions of events each day.

● Work with the rest of the engineering team to shape and design the backend APIs that our product relies on.

● You will be responsible for building, shaping and maintaining performant and high quality production code.

● You’ll work closely with your product squad to design and build the user experience for mobile users of the SDK.

● You will work closely with your product squad to ideate engineering solutions to how we build and improve the platform and add new functionality.

● You will help scale the Ribbon team by helping to hire exceptional talent as the team grows.

Job requirements

● You have strong previous experience programming in Swift, and have shipped and further iterated on at least one customer facing app in the App Store

● You’re comfortable driving the development of new products and features in a team that deals with ambiguity

● Optionally, you may have experience building frameworks or libraries meant to be used by other developers, such as SDKs

● Be passionate about developing performant products and always strive to improve themselves and their work

● Be product-minded, and be motivated to build products that help our users do impactful research

● You’re a continuous learner, and able to learn new concepts quickly

● Love to craft beautiful software (aesthetic or otherwise)
